The rooms
Grey light is soft light. Most of our best pictures were made on days other crews would cancel, with rain covers on and a dry van nearby. The studio page

Nygårdsgaten 29
A former warehouse studio at Nygårdsgaten 29 with a drive-in door, a large cove, a wet room for seafood and a grading suite.

On set
- Cameras
- Stills and cinema bodies kept in Bergen, with matched primes so stills and motion share a field of view.
- Lighting
- Rain covers on everything, soft LED panels for grey daylight and a long lens for the harbour.

After the shoot
- Grip
- Stands, flags and support that the van can actually carry.
- Finishing
- A colour-managed room in Bergen for HDR and SDR, and a stills pipeline that takes tethered captures.
Shot in Bergen
Bergen gets more rain than almost any city in Europe, and we have learned to like it. We photograph and film seafood, shipping, outdoor brands and the fjords, from a studio on Nygårdsgaten.

Before you book
Do you shoot stills and film on the same day?
Yes, when the plot allows. We design light that holds for a locked hero still and for coverage. If the still needs a modifier that will not travel into motion, we split the day rather than fake it.
Where are you based?
The studio and finishing suite are at Nygårdsgaten 29, Bergen 5015, Norway. We travel with a core crew in Europe and hire locally when the story needs it.
Can you deliver HDR and social cutdowns?
HDR masters, Rec.709, and platform cutdowns are part of finishing. We need the media plan early so aspect ratios are shot, not cropped as an afterthought.
Who owns the files?
Copyright stays with the studio until invoices are paid, then usage follows the contract (territory, term, media). Raw camera files are working material unless a raw license is bought.
How early should we book?
Four to six weeks is comfortable for a campaign with casting and locations. A stills-only studio day can be held faster if the diary is open.
Tell us about the job
Tell us what you need to show and roughly when. We reply with a plan, a weather backup and a price.
- We reply with questions or a first crew plan.
- A short call to agree dates, places and the media plan.
- An estimate with names on it, then the date is held.
